“Bring phone” is for times I need the cordless phone. It isn’t for fetching the phone when it rings since she can’t get to it and back with it before the answering machine picks up.

Note that I’ve added a “handle” to the back side of the phone. Some people attach a plush toy to make it easier for their dog to pick up.

Sometimes teaching your dog to do something can have an unexpected result. Whenever Marley wants attention, she brings the cordless phone. It often isn’t in the base long enough for it to charge up.

“Bring phone,” “bring your bowl” and “bring towel” are the only items identified by its name.
