My name is Francine and my service dog’s name is Rudy. During his young puppy-hood, I took on the serious commitment to begin training Rudy to perform daily tasks that my disability prevents me from doing for myself. Rudy’s specialty is item retrieval, but he has learned a myriad of other tasks which we hope to build on. We are putting forth a great amount of time and effort to meet task training requirements and public access standards mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Tipping the scales at 11.5 lbs, my beloved two year old Bichon Papillon mix is different than his much admired large working dog brethren. But Rudy works very hard to earn his designation as service dog.
