Blog Rules (kinda, sorta)

  1. Grammar and spelling don’t count.
  2. You are journaling about you and your dog.  If it doesn’t pertain to that, it doesn’t belong here.
  3. Write in the first person (I, me, mine) unless you’re writing from your dog’s point of view.
  4. Write about how you taught your dog and how your dog responded.
  5. Do not include links to other websites and say, “I did it that way.”
  6. Be sure to include mistakes and how you overcame them.
  7. Include pictures of your dog doing tasks.  Portraits are nice — working is better.
  8. Try to keep it clean.
  9. Do not include personal information such as your address and phone number.
  10. Do include your state and, if you know, your state’s Service Dog laws.
  11. Include your training goals — what tasks you would like your dog to do for you.
  12. At this time, there is not a limit on the amount of space you may use.  The site owner reserves the right to place limits at any time in the future.
  13. Of course, the owner of HelperDogs.com always has the right to kick someone off and remove their web pages at her descretion without recourse by the user.
  14. Always keep a copy of your pages on your computer or print them out in case of server trouble.
  15. Remember — the site owner has access to all of the pages on this site, including the “private” pages.
  16. Happy Blogging!
